The next challenge was submitting the manuscript to publishing houses as most do not accept unsolicited material and finding an agent could be just as difficult. By September God’s hand had made the way and Taken From The Night was in several major publishing houses for review. At this time, I’m prayerfully hopeful of a contract as a result. (Lord, may it be so!)
Currently I’ve been working with my marketing manager Robert, to launch a creative marketing plan for the book. Talk is underway for the potential of a third book trailer. We’re optimistic that we will be able to use the same actress as the previous trailers. Plans are in motion for a revised look of the website, adding speaking engagements and promotions.
Last but not least, I’ve begun working on the proposal for my next manuscript which will be my artistic focus for the New Year. This is an insightful non-fiction work which takes me back to my passion.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in 2011 and may the power of His spirit be ever-present in you as you proclaim the good news that brings freedom to the captives and releases those in darkness! Have a blessed New Year!
